Nice boat under sail. With genua 1 3-4 m/s wind is needed with my nerves ;) Quite fast and points high on beat. The rig is normal 7/8 rig with running backstays. The runners aren't really needed very much as the mast has aft spread spreaders. The spinnaker boom is quite heavy and since it is a dip-pole there should be double sheets for it for maximum performance handling. |

With four persons no problems, accommodates two couples nicely as both the fore and aft staterooms are quite roomy. I personally like to sleep in aft stateroom. Pentry is roomy enough with good amount of storage for cutlery, pots etc. Navigation area is big enough for Finnish charts and is easily accessed when one wants to take quick look at chart. Toilet is roomy with enough hanging room for four oilies. Our yacht is fitted with shover but I haven't used it because the toilet is made of wood. |

Beautiful boat. Sails well. Quality and craftmanship seems to be very good. No GRP visible inside the yacht ;) |
Problem / svaga punkter: |
In our yacht the teak deck seems to leak so it needs repairment. The boom is fitted quite low. The ergonomics are not that great if compared to newer boats. |

Our yacht is Finngulf 391. The main differences between 39 and 391 are the aft deck and foils. |
